ABOUT NWANA

THE CONTINENTAL GOVERNING BODY
FOR COMPETITIVE NORDIC WALKING

The Nordic Walking Association of North America (NWANA) is the continental governing and sanctioning body for competitive Nordic Walking in the United States and across all of North America.

We operate as a U.S. public charity recognized under IRS Section 501(c)(3), dedicated to developing the sport, protecting its integrity, and expanding access for athletes, clubs, and communities. NWANA does not organize events — we govern the sport, certify officials, and sanction competitions through recognized operators.
