Albert Tazetdinov serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nordic Walking Association of North America, leading the organization's day-to-day operations as it builds the continental federation for Nordic walking.
Before leading NWANA, Albert Tazetdinov was a competitive Olympic weightlifter at national junior level, earning a bronze medal at the junior championship along with multiple regional titles and cup victories. A university-educated weightlifting and strength coach, he brings a competitor's mindset to NWANA's day-to-day work: focus on the result, respect for athletes, and no excuses.
