HELP BUILD COMPETITIVE
NORDIC WALKING IN NORTH AMERICA
Join the volunteer team supporting governance, compliance, communications, fundraising, outreach, and sports community advocacy.
This is not event staffing. We’re building a continental system (licensing → sanctioning → results/rankings → education/certification), and we need reliable people to help move the work forward.
WHY VOLUNTEERS MATTER HERE

Reliability, Confidentiality, Professionalism
We match volunteers to real needs. Some roles require access to sensitive information and may require an NDA and basic verification. Volunteer roles are not employment and do not create governance authority.
- Be realistic about time — consistency matters more than volume.
- Respect confidentiality — sensitive matters must stay internal.
- Use clear communication — simple updates, written summaries, follow-ups.
- Stay compliance-safe — avoid political campaign activity under NWANA’s name.
Simple onboarding
A lightweight process that protects the organization and respects your time.
What happens after I apply?
We review your application and contact you if there is a match. Most roles start with a short call and a first task.
Do I need to be in North America?
Many roles can be remote. Some outreach/negotiation needs may be location-dependent.
Is this paid?
No. Volunteer/pro bono roles are not employment.
