About NWANA
NWANA is the continental governing and sanctioning body for competitive Nordic Walking in North America.
NWANA builds the competitive structure of the sport in North America.
We develop and regulate the sport system — including licensing, sanctioning, results, rankings, and education — across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
NWANA operates as a U.S. public charity recognized under IRS Section 501(c)(3), focused on integrity, access, and long-term development of the sport.
NWANA does not organize events. Competitions are delivered by independent organizers under NWANA standards and sanctioning.
