1. NONPROFIT DATA INTEGRITY
How our legal status as a public charity defines our relationship with your data.
NON-COMMERCIAL FOCUS
NWANA does not sell, trade, or rent personal information. All data processing is strictly in support of our nonprofit, educational, and athletic mission.
CONTINENTAL SCOPE
As a North American body, we align with U.S. Privacy Guidelines, GDPR (Europe), and PIPEDA (Canada) to protect our international community.
2. DATA COLLECTION & DIGITAL ID
Information required for the national sport system and athlete pathway.
ATHLETE PROFILES
Collection of names, NWANA ID, license tiers (1–4), and club affiliations for official rankings and competition eligibility.
SECURE PAYMENTS
Licensing and program fees are processed via encrypted third-party providers (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). NWANA does not store credit card numbers.
PERFORMANCE DATA
Sanctioned race results, judging penalties, and certification records are maintained to ensure sport integrity and public accountability.
3. DATA USAGE & SHARING
Restricted access protocols for the federation ecosystem.
FEDERATION OPERATIONS
- Management of member accounts and certifications.
- Issuance of digital QR codes for event check-ins.
- Support for Regional Operator administration.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
Data may be shared with contracted vendors (Learning Platforms, CRM) who are legally bound to protect your data and use it only for NWANA services.
4. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Control over your digital footprint within the NWANA system.
ACCESS
Request a copy of all personal data and athletic records held in our central database.
CORRECTION
Update or correct information in your Athlete Profile or Member Dashboard.
DELETION
Request data removal, subject to legal and athletic results retention requirements.
