FAIR PLAY
Compete and officiate honestly. No cheating, manipulation, or deception. Victory is only valid when earned fairly.
RESPECT
Mutual respect toward athletes, officials, volunteers, and spectators regardless of background or ability.
INTEGRITY
Protect the reputation of the sport. Act in good faith and uphold the professional standards of the federation.
STANDARDS BY ROLE
Specific behavioral expectations for every member of the sport community.
ATHLETES
- Strict compliance with competition rules and technique standards.
- Immediate adherence to instructions from judges and marshals.
- Zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike behavior or harassment.
- Respecting official decisions through proper appeal channels.
JUDGES & OFFICIALS
- Act independently, impartially, and objectively at all times.
- Mandatory disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest.
- Consistent and fair application of the NWANA Rulebook.
- Maintenance of professional neutrality during sanctioned events.
OPERATORS & HOSTS
- Full compliance with NWANA sanctioning and safety requirements.
- Accurate reporting of event data and financial transparency.
- No misrepresentation of NWANA authority or brand status.
- Ensuring a safe and professional environment for all participants.
COACHES & INSTRUCTORS
- Prioritize athlete health, development, and safety above all.
- Model ethical behavior and promote the “Sport, Shared for Life” vision.
- No improper influence on athletes, officials, or competition outcomes.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Violations that result in immediate disciplinary review and potential loss of license.
- Abuse & Harassment: Any form of physical, emotional, or sexual misconduct.
- Result Manipulation: Intentional falsification of times, scores, or rankings.
- Falsification: Tampering with credentials, licenses, or medical documents.
- Brand Misuse: Unauthorized commercial use of the NWANA name or emblem.
- Retaliation: Any negative action against individuals raising legitimate safety concerns.
Compliance is Mandatory
By holding an NWANA license or participating in sanctioned events, you agree to this Code. Violations may lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent revocation of credentials.
