REFUND POLICY
This policy explains when refunds are not available and what to do if you have an access or payment issue. NWANA operates as a nonprofit public charity recognized under IRS Section 501(c)(3).
CORE RULE
Most fees are non-refundable once access, eligibility, or administrative review begins.
NO REFUNDS (STANDARD)
Because many NWANA services provide immediate eligibility or digital access, fees are generally final and non-refundable once delivered or processed.
ACCESS HELP (NOT A REFUND)
If you cannot access a purchased course or service due to a technical issue, NWANA will make reasonable efforts to restore access. Technical support does not constitute grounds for a refund.
DIGITAL COURSES & CERTIFICATION
Online learning, digital materials, exams, and certification programs.
COURSES & DIGITAL MATERIALS
Payments for digital courses, curriculum, downloadable or streaming content are non-refundable once access is granted.
EXAMS & CERTIFICATION FEES
Examination and certification fees are non-refundable once processing or evaluation has started.
COURSE ACCESS ISSUES
If you experience access problems, contact info@nwaofna.org. NWANA will assist in restoring access where possible.
LICENSES & SANCTIONING FEES
Eligibility licensing and event sanctioning administration.
ATHLETE / OFFICIAL LICENSE FEES
Annual athlete and official license fees are non-refundable once a license is issued or activated, because eligibility is granted for participation and official results/rankings.
EVENT SANCTIONING FEES
Sanctioning fees are administrative program service fees. They are generally non-refundable once event review and processing begins, regardless of whether an event later proceeds as planned.
DONATIONS
Charitable contributions (separate from fees).
CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
Donations are voluntary charitable contributions and are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or in cases of clear processing error.
ERRORS / DUPLICATES
If you believe you made a duplicate payment or a clear payment error occurred, contact info@nwaofna.org promptly with transaction details.
UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENTS
Fraud concerns and chargeback handling.
IF YOU DID NOT AUTHORIZE A PAYMENT
If you believe your payment method was used without authorization, notify NWANA immediately and contact your payment provider to initiate their fraud resolution process. NWANA will cooperate with legitimate investigations.
LEGAL NOTE
This policy is intended to comply with applicable consumer protection rules for digital access and program fees. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
