VOLUNTEERS

Volunteer with NWANA
Help build Nordic Walking communities and the future of competitive Nordic Walking in North America.

Volunteers

NWANA is building the long-term sport system for competitive Nordic Walking in North America. That includes education, community development, athlete pathways, event support, governance, communications, partnerships, and future competition growth.

Volunteer support matters because the sport is still in an early stage of development. Before large systems can scale, people are needed to help build strong local activity, clear communication, and reliable organizational support.

This is not only about competitions. Volunteers help create the foundation that allows communities, athletes, leaders, and future events to grow.

Why Volunteers Matter

In developing sports, progress does not happen only through athletes. It also happens through the people who help organize, communicate, guide, support, and strengthen the system around them.

NWANA volunteers help create momentum in areas where structure is still being built. Their contribution can support local communities, national development, and future continental growth.

Some volunteers support sport-facing roles. Others help in organizational, nonprofit, legal, technical, or communication areas. All of that work matters.
